found more bugs in the food then i would at a farm.... its a wonder y the health inspectors didnt closed them down.

Expect to pay a good price for quality food. You can't even compare their shawarmas to the ones you buy elsewhere for $5. Nice having a place to get local and organically raised meats.

It was the very worst Shawarma i ever had + they charged over $9 for just the sandwich

I occassionally buy meat from this store.I would buy more BUT the problem is that each time this guy sees me he gives me a BIIIG lecture on why i should be buying from him only.I live in morgans grant close to the shop and he presses too hard for me to buy from his store and then he drills me hard on the fact that muslims travel an hr or two hrs to go buy meat when they have it around the corner.1) I am not a big meat eater 2) The way we cut our meats is a bit different ( sophisticated we believe) 3)there is a doubt as to whether this person is authentically halal or not as he speaks a lot against the mosque i guess so people are not sure if he even bothers for real halal.4)his shawarma i dont like since ive eaten the best shawarmas his doesnt measure up but i can understand that some people might like it.5) i did buy some fresh shawarma meat from him and it does look very good.

Best Place to go for a quick-healthy meal. WONDERFUL for meat...all local and most of it is organic. If you are looking for something particular, Darvish is good at getting it for you! Affordable meat that is EXCELLENT quality. You get good Karma points for supporting local farmers aswell..

We were given a bag of pitas with our meal - they were 2 days past the best before date. Menus that are still given at the restaurant are apparently 5 years outdated. Maybe its time to print some new menus instead of misleading customers. Kebabs were good but business practices are shady.

I just got some organic stewing beef for the first time. It was excellent and affordable. I will keep going back for more cuts.

Best meat in the whole city!

People are always asking me where I got my steaks because they are just so good. Lamb is prefection, chickens are amazing and the sausages are pretty darn good too!

Can't beat the price for organic meat.

Best Shawarma in town. THe humus is definitely homemade. The cuts of beef in the butcher shop section are aged to absolute perfection, completely perfect in colour and consistency, and are juicy beyond belief. The meat is cut with the greatest skill. The service is very friendly and personal. On top of that, the prices are very competitive. Definitely an 11 out of 10!

The Chicken Shawarma is the best I have ever eaten. The platter is amazing also, so much food. It is always so fresh! I wish I still lived in Kanata to eat one everyday. When we come into the city I always stop for one. If you have not eaten here - go and get one! I rate this place 110%!

wow! try their organic lamb shwarma (kafta?)cooked on a sword, its really good and fair price also. friendly kind people who work there.
we also get whole organic chicken there.

The fresh cut steaks and lamb are the best in the Kanata area. The meat is so tender and flavourful you will never buy from the grocery store again. The shawarma and salads are fantastic as well. It's nice to support a family run store.

The folks at this store are wonderful. Very helpful and they are top notch butchers. The quality of the meat is second to none. Often the only time my kids will eat decent size portions of meat, ie. lamb or steak is when I buy it from here. Cheers and keep up the great work.
